Many beginning affiliate marketers quickly give up after they realize they’re not going to become rich overnight. While it is possible to make good money with affiliate marketing, it won’t happen overnight and it will take a lot of hard work.
Don’t Listen to the Hype
You may come across sales pages that offer you the opportunity of a lifetime to make a gazillion dollars in just a few days if you’ll just buy a report or a guide or a video or whatever. Don’t fall for it. Although there are some good affiliate marketing books and tools on the market that may be able to offer you sound guidance, any program that promises you will go from rags to riches isn’t going to help you, it is just going to take your money.

You just found a fantastic keyword. High search volume. Low competition. It’s great. If you optimize a page for this one, it’s a sure thing. It almost seems too good to be true.
And now, as you look at it a little more carefully, you think it just might be.
After all, how is anyone supposed to come up with content that makes a lick of sense for something like “Newark taxidermist deer”? There probably hasn’t been one person in history who’s ever strung those words together while speaking. It’s a sensible keyword search for someone who’s looking for a taxidermist in Neward, but how in the heck are you supposed to turn it into content?
